Painted surface presents color detached on several areas. The entire surface is covered with dust and debris.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Restoration Process :<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Anoxic Treatment<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Consolidation of wooden panel<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Restoration of frame<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Cleaning and consolidation of the pictorial surface<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Creation and implementation of new support for of work that will enable conservation of the painting and frame<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Aesthetic retouching of pictorial surface<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Application of protective varnishes<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Photographic documentation<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vatican-monacopatrons.com\/pavm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/LM_WITH_VIRGO.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"580\" height=\"326\" \/>\u00a0<br \/><sup>Liana Marabini during her recent visit to the restauration laboratories of the Vatican Museums.
