A group of members of our chapter had the privilege of a private visit to the Vatican Museums, welcomed with great cordiality by the director of the Museums, Barbara Jatta and by the International Director Mons. Terence Hogan. The passage to the Matisse Room was emotional. The curator Micol Forti welcomed the visitors explaining the importance of this space, restored thanks to our president. The Raphael rooms were another important stop on the visit. The Sistine Chapel, opened especially for us, gave us an incomparable moment with Michelangelo's frescoes. The evening ended with a beautiful dinner in the Gallery of Busts and Sculptures.
